You created a really nice oBook, now you want users to find it in the store right? Of course! in this article you will learn exactly how.
Only oBooks which status is published, and have enabled the toggle of e-commerce available are eligible to appear in the store.
Apart from the content of your oBook to comply with the content policy of Octavo, you should take care of a couple of aspects before you let others discover it in the store.
Define a unique, human friendly, slug. The slug is used in places such as permalinks. After published, changing this will affect the way it appears in search engines, so decide wisely.
Select an imprint that your publishing house should use with the oBook. An imprint is a way to group oBooks and its logo is shown along the oBook information.
Define a price (in oCoins. 1 oCoins = €0.01) which users will be charged to acquire this title. Modifying the price only affect future purchases.
If at some point you don't want the oBook to appear in the store, change the toggle E-commerce available. This will not affect users that already acquired the title. Only unpublishing an oBook will revoke access of a title to its readers until it is published again.
